The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Long exposure sunset shot about 20 minutes after the sun dipped below the horizon at the reefs in La Jolla California. It was dark and cloudy so I had to use a very long exposure time. When you use a really long exposure time in low light conditions, you always get interesting color tones.
